Rohr challenges the Church’s insistence that homosexuals remain
celibate. “The
Catholic theology of charisms always described them as ‘free gifts.’
Total
chastity is called the ‘charism’ of celibacy.
This would appear to be a contradiction in terms.
You cannot order someone to have a charism.” |
